The Thetis Island Local Trust Committee voted to request a staff report on available information about groundwater and freshwater sustainability in the Thetis Island Local Trust Area. [1]
The request followed public participation about whether groundwater studies would be conducted on Thetis Island; a trustee said a groundwater study had not advanced and that the Cowichan Valley Regional District was supposed to undertake a water study for the island. [1]
