The Thetis Island Local Trust Committee deferred further consideration of an application for nature-based shoreline protection and directed staff to share professional reports and invite First Nations to a site visit before proceeding. [1]
The application seeks to rezone portions of the Rural Residential and Water 4 zones to site-specific shoreline protection zones to facilitate work intended to decrease shoreline erosion. [1]
