The Thetis Island Local Trust Committee made no decision on whether to opt in to a provincial principal-residence requirement for short-term rentals, instead forwarding a staff memorandum to the Advisory Planning Commission for information.[1]
The committee’s minutes say trustees wanted more time to consider the background information before deciding on an opt-in resolution.[1] They passed a motion to forward the memorandum to the Advisory Planning Commission.[1]
