Staff will return with options on small-scale agriculture and invasive-species management before the committee considers further readings of proposed bylaws 108 and 109.

The Thetis Island Local Trust Committee asked staff to develop options and recommend amendments to proposed bylaws 108 and 109 on expanding small-scale agriculture in the proposed riparian assessment area and managing manual invasive-species removal and native planting plans.[1]

The requests followed a discussion of public submissions on the proposed bylaws, which concern riparian-area protections around Ralston Creek; the minutes record that the committee did not give the bylaws second and third readings at the meeting.[1]

The minutes say the committee requested staff to provide options and recommend amendments on both topics, with the motions carried.[1]
